CTE Funds for Ada Sept. 25, 2024
Lt. Governor Husted presented Apollo Career Center 1.1 million dollars in CTE funds through a grant collaboratively written with Ada Exempted Village Schools and Allen East Schools. Ada will use their portion of the grant to expand the Agribusiness & Production Systems program and to create a new Advanced Manufacturing Program. Additionally, the robotics program will be expanded in the 7th and 8th grade. Existing classroom space will be transformed into a STEM lab where the new programs will be housed. The grant also funds state of the art equipment such as laser cutters/engravers, Miller welders, and Festo Advanced Manufacturing Training Modules and equipment.
