Dear Parents and Community,
Welcome back to another great school year here at Ada Exempted Village Schools. I find it to be a great privilege to be the Elementary Principal here. The 2025-2026 school year begins my 25th year in education and my second year here at Ada. I have absolutely loved getting to know so many of you over the past year, and I look forward to getting to know more of you over the coming year.
I love working with children and supporting them to help them make the most out of each day! I thoroughly enjoy working with the amazing staff here at Ada to help them best support each student in order to help all Ada Bulldogs make the most of each day. We have truly terrific staff and students here at Ada!
I would like to give a special shout out to our new teachers in the elementary this year. We are looking forward to these Rockstars joining our amazing staff.
Mrs. Caitlin Porter joins us as a kindergarten teacher this year. She is coming to us with 10 years of experience at Findlay City Schools. Caitlin and her husband live in Ada and have 3 children that attend Ada Schools.
Miss Alexis Swaney joins us as a kindergarten teacher this year. She is coming to us with 2 years of experience at Allen East Local Schools. Alexis is a graduate of Ada and lives in Ada.
Mrs. Kylie Murphy joins us as a 4th grade Language Arts teacher. She is a first year teacher. She is a graduate of Ada and the Ohio State University of Lima and lives in Ada.
Miss Barrette Jones joins us as a 4th & 5th grade Social Studies teacher. She is a first year teacher. She is a graduate of Ada and the University of Findlay and lives in Ada.
We have many great activities planned throughout the school year, and I hope I get to see each of you as parents, community members, and students at these activities throughout the year...whether it be a musical, awards assembly, spelling bee, holiday party, parent night, sports activities, or any of the other many activities that will happen this coming year
