Registration for kindergarten at Ada Schools for the 2026–2027 school year is now open. Families with incoming kindergarten students can begin the process by completing registration through FinalForms.
All required forms must be completed and supporting documents uploaded in FinalForms before scheduling a screening. Once the registration process is complete, families will receive an email with a link to sign up for a kindergarten screening time. Screenings will take place on May 7 and May 8.
Families should also be aware of an important update to kindergarten admission requirements. Under House Bill 114, children must turn five years old on or before the first day of the school year to enroll in kindergarten. Admission eligibility is now directly tied to the first day of instruction.
For Ada Schools, the first day of school for the 2026–2027 school year is August 24, 2026. This represents a change from previous years, so families are encouraged to keep the new requirement in mind as they plan ahead. You can download the 2026-2027 academic year calendar HERE.
