Parents and Guardians of 6th Grade Students Who Reside Within the Village Limits,
We wish to remind you of our district’s transportation policy. According to Ada Schools Board policy, students in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade who live within the village limits are eligible for school bus transportation.
The southern boundary of the transportation area is Lima Avenue. Students who reside on Lima Avenue remain eligible for transportation.
We understand this change may create challenges for families. To help prepare, here are a few transportation options to consider:
Parent Drop-off: You may drop off your child at school. The designated drop-off area is at the cafeteria doors using the south drive. Please follow staff directions and prioritize student safety during arrival times.
Carpooling: Partnering with other families can be a helpful way to share transportation responsibilities and ensure students arrive safely and on time.
Walking or Biking: If appropriate, your child may walk or ride a bike to school. Please be sure they follow all safety guidelines, including using sidewalks and wearing helmets when biking.
