Dear Ada Bulldog Families,
At Ada Schools, our vision, “Aspiring to excel in all areas of the school experience,” isn’t just words on paper. It’s our commitment to making every year one of growth, opportunity, and connection. As we open the doors to the 2026–2027 school year, we do so with pride in what our students accomplished last year and true excitement for what lies ahead.
Looking back at the 2025–2026 school year, our students and staff set a high bar across the board:
Record College Credits: Our high school students set a school record by earning over 900 college credits in a single year!
Middle School Excellence: Our middle school set a record for the highest percentage of students earning our quarterly academic and behavioral incentive!
Hands-On Innovation: Our new Manufacturing and Shop program wrapped up an outstanding first year. Students completed impressive hands-on projects that brought together electrical, mechanical, and advanced technology components.
We’re also thrilled to welcome two talented new educators to our Bulldog team this year:
Mr. Shawn Stevens, Vocal Music — Brings outstanding experience as a former instructor of musical theatre and Director of Choirs at Ohio Northern University, as well as experience directing show choirs.
Mr. Joe Gerken, High School Math — Comes highly recommended and is committed to helping students understand the “why” behind mathematics by incorporating real-world applications and encouraging students to explain their reasoning.
On a personal note, my wife and I continue to feel incredibly blessed to live and raise our family in such a strong, supportive community. Our children—Emersyn (9th grade), Ellie (5th grade), Hudson (2nd grade), and Jack (2 years old)—love being part of the Bulldog family just as much as we do.
