Dear Parents and Community,
Welcome back to another great school year here at Ada Exempted Village Schools. I find it to be a great privilege to be the Elementary Principal here. The 2026-2027 school year begins my 26th year in education and my third year here at Ada. I love working with children and supporting them to help them make the most of each day! I thoroughly enjoy working with the amazing staff here at Ada to help them best support each student in order to help all Ada Bulldogs make the most of each day.
Ada is a great place to be, and we have much to celebrate! This past year Ada Elementary School was awarded the Momentum Award from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce in recognition of significant improvement in growth and achievement on the Ohio School Report Card. In addition, Ada Elementary was named a 2026 US News & World Report Best Elementary School. We are doing amazing work here at Ada!
This year you are going to notice a big change in our Elementary Office. After many years of Mrs. Alane Collins being the warm welcome greeting each person that walks through our doors, she is now enjoying retirement. Therefore, we have a new smiling face to greet you when you come into the Elementary Office. Brandi Albright has joined our office as the new Elementary Secretary. We are excited to have Brandi join our office staff, and I am sure you will all quickly see that she is a great addition to our staff!
Our elementary teaching staff had no turnover this year, so we are excited for all of our teachers to return and jump right in from where we left off last year! We have amazing teachers, and they work hard each day to help each student strive to be their best. I look forward to all the wonderful experiences our staff and students get to experience this school year!
We have many great activities planned throughout the school year, and I hope I get to see each of you as parents, community members, and students at these activities throughout the year…whether it be a musical, awards assembly, spelling bee, holiday party, parent night, sports activity, or any of the other many activities that will happen this coming year.
