Boo-K or Treat!
We would like to invite all students in grades Preschool, K, 1, 2 and 3, and their families, to our Boo-k or Read night (trunk or treat with a literary twist) on Thursday Oct. 22nd from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Ada Schools. Students may dress up in their Halloween costume if they like but are not required. Parents are encouraged to attend an informational meeting, prior to the event, at 6:00 pm, in the school cafeteria. Students whose parents attend the meeting will have their name put in a book drawing.
Event: Thursday Oct. 22nd
Parent Meeting: 6:00 pm
Boo-k or Read: 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Rain Date: Monday Oct. 26th
Families will park in the administrative building parking lot or high school student parking lot.
Families walk to the south, back entrance of the school, by the cafeteria, and sign in at the welcome table to get their Boo-k or Read Book List.
Families will walk from trunk to trunk getting their Book List stamped, discovering all kinds of children’s literature and collecting treats along the way.
Completed Book Lists can be returned to the welcome table for a prize!
What To Expect?
Learn about great children’s books you can later read as a family!
Each registered student will receive 1 item inspired by each children’s book at each trunk.
Having fun as a family and getting inspired to READ!
Advance RSVPs are required to attend. All registration slips must be returned by Wednesday, Sept. 30th. Sorry! No exceptions!
