Ada Music Celebration Concert - Success! 🎶
Thank you staff for adjusting any plans to help ensure a successful trip to Ohio State’s Music Celebration Concert!
Kids we’re representing Ada well! We listened to Jazz, Opera, Bands, Choirs, Strings, even the Ohio State Marching Band! A lot of the kids loved the women’s vocal ensemble, with a song titled “Fire”, where they screamed and stomp (musically, of course). The Jazz Band was also mentioned a lot; they were smoking!
After the tour, they quickly ate and toured the brand new school of music building. They got to see composition study rooms, music technology rooms with advance computers and electronic instruments ,classrooms and practice rooms, recording booths, and the rehearsal spaces. They quietly walked in on multiple groups rehearsing and heard all sorts of music. Pretty cool stuff!
Just wanted to share this with you all. Again, thank you for working with us and allowing these students the opportunity! I have no doubt they were inspired on some level.
