Afterward, they put their knowledge to the test by identifying the stars, planets, and constellations they’ve been studying this month. This hands-on experience will help prepare them for upcoming stargazing events at the park next month!

We’re excited to invite all students in Grades K–6 to participate in the 6th Annual Ada Junior Track Meet on Sunday, May 3rd at 1:00 PM!
Flyers and sign-up sheets have been sent home—be sure to return them by Thursday, April 9th. This is a fantastic opportunity for our young Bulldogs to experience the fun of track and field and maybe even spark a lifelong love for the sport! With 8+ events to choose from, there’s something for everyone to try and enjoy.
Even better, our high school track athletes will be leading practices—offering encouragement, support, and a great example for our younger students.
🏅 And don’t forget… medals will be awarded to top finishers in each age group!
We hope to see a great turnout—let’s get our future Bulldogs moving!

On Friday, May 15th, we will host a visit from author and illustrator Jeffrey Ebbeler, a New York Times bestselling creator who has illustrated—and sometimes written—over 60 books for young readers. This is an exciting opportunity for our students to meet a real-life author, learn about the creative process, and be inspired by his work!
To make this visit even more memorable, we are offering a book presale with the option to have your child’s book personally signed by Jeffrey Ebbeler.
📌 Order forms will be sent home with students
📌 All orders are due by April 8th
📌 Books will be delivered to students after the visit on Monday, May 18th
Don’t miss this chance to add a special, signed book to your child’s collection while supporting a wonderful literacy experience!

We hope all of our students, families, and staff enjoy a safe and joyful holiday!

We invite you to take a stroll through the halls and enjoy the incredible creativity of our students in grades 1–5. From bold brushstrokes to imaginative designs, you won’t want to miss the artistic talents of our young Bulldogs!

Congratulations to our March Bulldogs of the Month!

Mrs. Wissman’s class has been enjoying a fun tradition all year long—welcoming Mystery Readers into their classroom! From parents and grandparents to Ada Schools staff and teachers, each visit brings excitement, curiosity, and engaging read-aloud stories.
Before each visit, Mrs. Wissman shares clues to help students guess who their special guest might be… and the anticipation is half the fun!
This week’s Mystery Reader was one of our very own Ada Elementary gems—Mrs. Collins! After 20 years of warmly greeting students and families as our Elementary Secretary, she brought her same joy and energy into the classroom. Students loved listening to Fat Cat on the Mat and Cooking with the Grinch—she truly made the stories come to life!
We are so grateful for the time, care, and enthusiasm our Mystery Readers bring to our students. And we are especially lucky to have Mrs. Collins as part of our Ada family!

Kindergarten registration is open for the 26-27 school year! Registration will need to be completed through FinalForms. Once all forms are complete (and documents have been uploaded) you will be emailed a link to sign up for a screening time. Screenings will be held on May 7th and 8th.

From their singing to their confidence on stage, these young performers did an incredible job bringing the story to life. We are so proud of their hard work, teamwork, and bravery in front of an audience!
Way to go, 1st grade—you were amazing!

From sunspots and solar flares to prominences, students gained a deeper understanding of our closest star—and even got to safely observe it through specially equipped telescopes!
Hands-on experiences like this bring science to life and spark curiosity in amazing ways.
