October 16th is Bosses Day and October serves as Principal Appreciation Month and our Sunshine Committee made sure to celebrate our amazing leaders who guide, support, and inspire our Bulldog family every day! 💛
Superintendent Mrs. Simmons, along with principals Dr. Lee, Dr. Devier and Mrs. Maag were surprised with thoughtful gifts and plenty of smiles from our Sunshine group — a team of teachers and staff dedicated to spreading positivity and joy throughout Ada Schools. 🌻
Thank you to our administrators for your leadership, care, and commitment to making Ada Schools a brighter place to learn and grow! 🖤💛 #AdaBulldogs #PrincipalAppreciationMonth #BossesDay #BulldogPride #SpreadingSunshine
Students in Mr. Crawford’s Applied Construction & Manufacturing Technology class have been putting their engineering and problem-solving skills to the test. Over the past few weeks, they’ve learned how to interpret engineering drawings — and recently took on a challenge with no dimensions provided!
Using their knowledge of drawing scales and architect tools, students calculated measurements, cut parts on the miter saw, assembled with glue and nails, and finished their projects with paint or stain. The result? A custom-built wall shelf they can proudly display! 🪚📏
👏 Great work, Bulldogs — applying knowledge, building skills, and creating something to show for it!

Apprentices from GROB visited Mrs. Burnett’s 3rd grade class to help students explore potential and kinetic energy in action. Students built their own slingshot cars, tested how far they could go, and used the scientific method to problem-solve and improve their designs.
Hands-on learning + creative thinking = science fun at its best! 🔬⚙️

Our Kindergarteners had a special visit from Officer Penny, who came to talk about the important role police officers play as community helpers! 💙
Students learned about the tools and equipment officers use to keep people safe — and even got to see some of them up close. To make the visit extra fun, Officer Penny gave each student a badge sticker and a coloring page! ✨
Her goal is to help our youngest Bulldogs feel comfortable, curious, and confident when they see law enforcement in our community. We’re excited to be part of her new group, Copsicle Kids — where learning about safety and kindness goes hand in hand with building positive connections! 🚓💛

Each Thursday after school, a group of our 6th graders will walk to Vancrest to spend time connecting with residents. They’ll play games, make crafts, share stories, and enjoy meaningful conversation — all while building friendships across generations. 💛
This weekly program will continue every Thursday until Christmas break — and we’re so proud of our students for representing Bulldog kindness and community spirit! #AdaBulldogs #BulldogConnect

🎨 Mrs. Winkeljohn’s elementary art classes are diving into clay projects this week, creating unique and fun pieces! To make it even more special, Mr. Wells’ high school students are stopping by to lend a hand and encourage our younger Bulldogs. This cross-school collaboration is not only helpful, but also a wonderful way to build connections and make learning fun for everyone! 🐾

Our 8th graders will be joining the Ada High School Marching Band during the game and at halftime. Come cheer them on as they take the field together! 💜💛
And don’t leave right after the game—stick around to enjoy a post-game show performed by the High School Marching Band. It’s going to be a great night of Bulldog football and music! 🎺🥁
