Today was a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the Butterfield/Cotsamire Memorial Storybook Walk. The Storybook Walk is located on the playground of Ada Elementary School, where Mrs. Butterfield and Mrs. Cotsamire were teachers for many years. Along with many family members, the current sixth grade class joined in on the ceremony as they were the last class to have had Mrs. Butterfield as a teacher. The Storybook Walk was completely funded by memorial contributions to the library in memory of these very special teachers. A huge thank you to the maintenance staff and summer crew who installed the Storybook Walk in time for our elementary students to enjoy when school started.
